Thinking of Moving to the Erickson Area?
We are a progressive, family-friendly community with year-round services, and we would love to welcome you to the area! Brand new, development-ready residential lots overlooking Leda Lake are available to purchase. Check them out here! Important Changes to Residential and Commercial Garbage Collection
Beginning on February 1, 2021, our Public Works staff will be picking up a limit of TWO (2) garbage bags per residential and commercial unit. As an alternative to bags, a single waste container/bin not more than 120 litres may be used. This container should not weigh more than 50 pounds including garbage it contains. Any additional bags placed at the curb will not be picked up unless they have a sticker, which can be purchased at the Municipal Office for $2.00 each. If you prefer not to purchase stickers, you have the option to take your excess residential waste to the waste site at no charge. Please click here for a copy of the information pamphlet. **For the latest COVID-19 news from Manitoba Health, Click Here**
In order to protect our staff and ratepayers, and to ensure that we can continue providing essential municipal services during the coming months, the Municipality of Clanwilliam-Erickson office and public works shops will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC except by appointment until further notice. Office staff will work from inside the building and can be reached via phone 204-636-2431 or email. (click the Contact Us tab for a list of email addresses) We request that our ratepayers pay bills online, e-transfer, mail a cheque or use the secure lock box located to the left of the building entrance. If sending an e-transfer, you will need to contact the office and inform us of the password. This is a rapidly evolving situation, and we have to ensure the health and safety of our staff, so that they can continue to provide the municipal services on which we all depend. Thank you for your cooperation, and we wish you good health in the days, weeks, and months to come. LATEST NEWS
