Burning Ban Lifted for Municipalities of Clanwilliam-Erickson and Harrison Park The Municipalities of Harrison Park and Clanwilliam-Erickson are very pleased to finally lift the fire ban for our areas. We would like to THANK all residences, ratepayers, and visitors for their cooperation during the fire ban to keep our area safe. We have all seen on the news the devastation fire has caused to many other Manitoba areas. Even with the fire ban our fire departments were kept busy with other fires. We hope the rains extinguish the many fires in our province that are out of control. On behalf of the Municipalities of Clanwilliam-Erickson and Harrison Park, along with our local fire departments, please have a safe long weekend. Posted May 19, 2021
Main Street Sidewalk Rehabilitation Project Beginning May 25, 2021, preparations will begin for Phase 1 of our Main Street sidewalk rehabilitation project. On the south side of Main Street, sidewalk repairs will occur from the west side of the Heritage Co-op grocery store to the east side of the Little Hands Learning Centre. A second phase will include the area in front of the Heritage Co-op grocery store, but the timing of this phase is not yet known. On the north side of Main Street, sidewalk repairs will occur from the intersection with Centre Avenue, west to join the existing new sidewalk at Northstar Insurance. We expect that concrete will be poured on June 2nd and 3rd, but this will be subject to weather. Sidewalks will be unusable for 24 hours after concrete is poured. We ask for your patience during this brief disruption, as we work towards making our community safer and more attractive. Posted April 22, 2021
