The Municipality of Clanwilliam-Erickson is located in the Parkland Region of Manitoba, due south of Clear Lake and Riding Mountain National Park. It was established as a legal entity on January 1, 2015, after the amalgamation of the Town of Erickson and Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam.

​Erickson is the commercial and cultural centre of the municipality, located at the intersection of Highway 10 and the Trans-Canada Trail, on the eastern shore of Leda Lake against a scenic backdrop of agricultural fields, rolling hills, and mixed forest stands. Businesses operating year-round in Erickson include a grocery store, gas station, dental clinic, pharmacy, convenience store, law office, accounting office, automotive sales and repair establishments, hair salons, banking institutions, restaurants, a bar/beer vendor, and more! Other services include a full-time doctor and nurse practitioner at the Erickson Health Centre, the Erickson branch of the Parkland Regional Library, Canada Post Office, skating and curling rinks, schools from K to 12, an airport, and Baptist, Roman Catholic, and Lutheran churches.

Crops grown in the municipality include cereal, oilseed, forage, and specialty crops, while livestock enterprises include dairy farms, cow/calf operations, and feedlots. The town caters to the farming community by providing supplies and inputs, as well as equipment sales and repair facilities.

A nature-lover's paradise next-door to a national park, Clanwilliam-Erickson contains many lakes, small rivers, and wooded areas which are heavily used by game and other wildlife. Scores of hunters and fishers flock to the area while seasons are open, and full-service guiding and outfitting establishments are here to make your stay enjoyable and fruitful.
